Bridge

A narrow bridge of land between two shores:

On each shore, a tower for the self-imprisoned.

In each tower, a window, facing the barren land.

All silent, but for the sea’s rush and trickle back.

Lovely description – a very nice poem, short but incredibly sweet. 🙂
